Martinez Outdoor Dining and Retail Program Resumed January 28th, 2021.
Participating businesses include: Bar Cava, Barrelista, Del Cielo, Five Suns, Lemongrass, Mighty Market, Nu Rays, Papi’s, Roxx on Main, Taco Daddy, and Whiskey Lane.
With grant support from the Martinez Community Foundation, the City of Martinez and Downtown Martinez & Co. are partnering to procure, distribute, and install plastic water-filled “K-Rails” around parking space perimeters in front of downtown storefronts in order to create “parklet” seating and retail display areas. There is no cost to businesses owners who request and receive the K-Rails. Restaurant, retail, and professional service businesses are all eligible for the program on a first come, first serve basis.
The addition of K-Rails to the Program provides an opportunity for businesses to utilize the parklet areas to set up seven days a week anytime of the day right in front of their storefronts.
For downtown businesses interested in participating in this program please see application links below.
